Rhonda Harding, born December 11, 1965 in Las Vegas, Nevada passed away December 21, 2007 in Crescent Valley, Nevada.

Rhonda was raised in Las Vegas with her mother Lillie Moraites and father James C. Morgan. She has three sisters: Connie Evans, Karen Wood, and Jamie Jimerson. All of whom had many children that Rhonda dearly loved.

During high school Rhonda excelled in swimming and track; she received both her G.E.D. and high school diploma. She married Greg Heberlein in 1983. Rhonda and Greg moved around before deciding to settle down in Caliente, Nevada, where she worked for Nevada Bank and Trust as a bank teller. During their marriage, Rhonda gave birth to Randy, Erica, and Steve Heberlein. Greg and Rhonda divorced in 1992.

Rhonda later met, and married, Richard Harding in 1993. Rick and Rhonda moved from Caliente to Elko, Nevada, where Rhonda worked at Stockman’s and Rick worked for the Nevada Division of Forestry. Rhonda was eventually hired on at Cortez Gold Mine and the family moved to Crescent Valley to start their new life together. Rhonda became an assayer for Cortez Gold Mine where she worked for ten years.

Rhonda loved all animals and enjoyed walking her pet pig and dogs around Crescent Valley. During the summer, she enjoyed boating and hanging out around the water, she attempted gardening, and was successful at times. During winter, she loved to take the kids out sledding, snowboarding and ice fishing. Rhonda was the “ultimate soccer mom;” she made sure all the kids made it to their sport events or school activities and she attended as many activities as she could.

Rhonda was very active, full of life and was known for her bubbly personality. People enjoyed being around her and her energetic spirit; there was never a dull moment for the people who knew her. Rhonda touched the lives of everyone around her and will be sorely missed.

Rhonda is survived by her loving husband, Rick Harding. Rhonda is also survived by her children: Randy, Erica, Steve Heberlein, and Saxon, Candice, and Brandon Harding.

Services will be held in Crescent Valley at the Crescent Valley Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. December 28, 2007.
