Lincoln Boys Top The Meadows

Lincoln took over sole possession of first place in the 2A Southern league with a 72-52 win over visiting The Meadows January 19. Dantley Walker had 21 points and 12 assists the pace the Lynx (14-5, 4-0). Kevin Hannig added 17 and Eric Rippetoe had 14. Jon Chino had a game high 26 points for The Meadows.

With the weekend wins over Needles and Meadows, Lincoln has a two-game lead on Needles, The Meadows and West Wendover, all tied at 2-2.

Lincoln (14-5) has the week off to get ready for home games with West Wendover and White Pine Feb. 1 - 2. The boys have earlier wins over both Wendover and White Pine, but the girls lost at Wendover while winning at White Pine.
