Memorial service for Arthur Odell Andrews, 77, of Damon, TX, will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, January 20, 2008, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 1201 Fourth Street, Rosenberg, TX, with Reverend Byron Williamson officiating.

Mr. Andrews was born October 2, 1930, in Dinuba, CA, to Louis Ezell Andrews and Pearl Loncar Andrews. He died January 18, 2008, at his home in Damon, TX. He served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. For 20 years he was employed with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department of Pioche, Nevada, and then served as a police patrolman in Killeen, TX for 2 years. He was the owner of Art & Nita's Silver Café in Pioche, Nevada, for 17 years, before retiring in 1997. Art and Nita traveled around the country and then eventually settled in Damon, TX, in 1999. Art will be remembered with fond memories of a great man - he will be missed.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Donna Meyers, Brenda Danford, and Claudette Blalock; one son, Mark Andrews; 9 Grandsons, 4 Granddaughters, and 9 Great Grandsons.
