Alamo Boys Over Calvary

Once again, Freshman Cody Hosier showed his young leadership and led the Panthers to a 54-49 win over Calvary Chapel in Las Vegas. His 15 points was a team high for the night and his defense contributed to a couple of steals late in the game, that Coach Brian Higbee said, “were a couple of big defensive stops.”

Brady Whipple had 14 points and nine rebounds. Taylor Poulsen added 10 points.

Alamo gave up a nice halftime lead and fell behind Calvary in the fourth quarter, but Higbee said “a little half court trap, and scoring off a couple of turnovers was key to icing the game.”

Cory Welch scored 17 in a solid effort for Calvary. He did not play when the two teams met in Alamo a couple of weeks ago.
