Obituary Notice
for
Stanley John Joseph Gaffin
September 18, 1925 – March 07, 2007

Stanley John Joseph Gaffin, age 81, of Panaca, Nevada, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2007.

He was born in Toronto, Canada, on September 18, 1925. Stanley enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force and attained the rank of Sergeant. After his release, he spent a few years in Toronto before moving to Orinda, California.

He and his brother James ran a service station in Berkley, California.. In the early 1950's, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. He then settled in Boulder City where he ran a motel and met his wife, Beverly Bulloch. They were married in 1959.

He then became a developer and obtained both his insurance and real estate licenses. He moved to Panaca, Nevada in 1972 and purchased the Dolan and Edwards Insurance Agency. He served as president of the Caliente Rotary Club and was a member of the Lincoln County Planning Commission.

He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - Day Saints.

His wife, Beverly, of Panaca, Nevada, daughter Michele Wadsworth, also of Panaca, and sons David of Las Vegas and Daniel of Fairfax, Virginia, survives him. He had six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

His daughter Kimberly preceded him in death.

Services will be Saturday, March 10, 2007 at the Panaca, Nevada LDS Stake Center at 11:00 a.m. Viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Panaca Cemetery.

Opal Beatrice Enkey Willis
December 19, 1926 – March 04, 2007

Opal Beatrice Enkey Willis, age 80, passed away March 4, 2007 at the Kolob Regional Care & Rehabilitation Center in Cedar City, Utah. She was born on December 19, 1926 in Leach Oklahoma to Claude and Olive Freeman Enkey. She married Marvin Wilce Willis, November 24, 1945 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

She and Marvin raised their four children in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 1991, they moved to Panaca, Nevada to be closer to their children. She was a very giving and kind person, and found great joy in helping others. She loved her family and friends. She especially appreciated the kindness shown to her by the staff members of Kolob Regional Care Center, during the past few years.

She is survived by her children, Jack Willis of Murray, Utah; Carol (William) Stoddard of Las Vegas, Nevada; Patty (Gary) Simkins of Panaca, Nevada; and Larry (Rachel) Willis of Syracruse, Utah; by 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren with 3 more on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, on May 30, 2001.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 17th, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Jehovah Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Wagoner, Oklahoma. A viewing will be held just prior ro the services from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. for family and friends. Interment will follow at the Pioneer
Cemetery in Wagoner, Oklahoma under the direction of Shipman Funeral
Home.
