Lincoln County Loses Over 1,000 Pounds

WOW! Phat Pigs! What visions those words conjure up. These are the winners of the Lincoln County Biggest Loser Contest sponsored by Lincoln Physical Therapy. A total of 1,012.25 pounds were lost.
The rules were simple. You formed a team that consisted of four to six members and paid an entry fee of $25 per team member. You had an initial weigh-in during the week of January 7th. Your team weighed in weekly and weights were recorded. The final weigh-in was held during the week of March 3rd. In between, you dieted as you saw fit, and exercised as you wanted.
Lincoln Physical Therapy hoped to have six teams sign up at both the Alamo and Caliente offices. The 20 teams that signed up were phenomenal – 12 in Caliente, 8 in Alamo. The team names were quite inventive and humorous to say the least.
Here are the team names and their final percentages of weight lost:
Alamo –
- Rump Roasters – 1.3%
- Slim Fast – 4.2%
- BFF – 5.98%
- WOW – 11.6%
- Team Determination – 1.2%
- The Fantastic Four – 7.1%
- “Ass”-ets – 5.2%
- Hunky Butts – 4.1%
Caliente –
- Thinning the Herd – 2.93%
- The Mile High Losers – 5.56%
- G Team – 7.54%
- Roly-Poly-Ollies – 3.57%
- Drop-A-Load – 7.40%
- P.H.A.T. Girls - .38%
- A Buck and his Babes - .88%
- Red Bulls – 7.30%
- Phat Pigs – 9.02%
- Papa Pete & The Panaca Princesses – 2.23%
- Marty & the Magnificent Mames – 2.60%
- Mountains to Molehills – 3.80%
So who were these Biggest Losers? Team WOW members split $732 between their members: Cindy Minnick, Don Rhude, Tersa Lasike, James Perdue, Nicole Lasike, and Tara Stewart. Phat Pigs team members split $1072 between their members: Evan and Jolin Schimbeck and Chase and Sharon Dirks.
Congratulations to these losers and we hope that they continue to lose those unwanted pounds and achieve their individual goals.
