Southern Nevada Off Road Enthusiasts will hold the 15th annual Dusty Times 250 desert race May 9-10 in Caliente. Nearly 300 participants were entered in the 2007 race with 97 cars. S.N.O.R.E officials said they booked every motel room from Alamo to Pioche last year.

However, organizers expressed great concern over the Bureau of Land Management raising fees for the organization from $400 last year to $13,000 this year and have said they may have to seek another location in 2009.
