Mr. Robert D. Rowe, Sr., age 72, of Pioche, NV, formerly of Grand Rapids, MI, passed away peacefully with his family at his side Thursday, May 22, 2008 in Grand Rapids, MI. He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Sharon; his children, Robert D. (Nicole) Rowe, Jr. of Pahrump, NV, William J. Rowe of Rockford MI, Susan L. (Randy) Dunn of Grand Rapids MI, and Linda M. Monroe of Standale MI; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his brother, William K. (Kathy) Rowe of Holland MI; and several nieces and nephews. He retired as a Captain after serving in the Grand Rapids Police Department for many years. Memorial services will be held in Grand Rapids, MI on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel, Rev. Greg Brower officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimers Association or Spectrum Health Hospice of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
