Shawn David Washburn of Cedar City, UT, passed away in an accident in Southern Wyoming. He was born in Cody, WY to Dave and Robin Washburn.

Everyone who knew Shawn knew that he lived each day, his way. He never knew a stranger. He could easily carry on a conversation until the sun came up whether he was playing cards, shooting pool, or analyzing a team roping run.

Shawn truly enjoyed a well-rounded life; whether he was hunting, packing in the hills with his family, jumping his motorcycle, working his leather, or roping steers; he did it with a zest we can only hope to achieve.

Shawn was truly one of the good guys. He didn’t meet a person he wouldn’t help – and when times got tough, he got creative, and got it done. Shawn will be deeply missed by the multitudes. He was a very special man.
