Obituary Notice
for
Landon James Greenan
August 1, 1995 - June 1, 2007
Our beloved son, brother and teammate, Landon James Greenan, left this world to be with our Lord on Friday, June 1, 2007. He was born in St. George, Utah on August 1, 1995.
Landon’s constant love of life was evident each and every day. Whether it was playing his favorite sport of baseball, cheering on his teammates from the dugout and making those impossible throws from shortstop, or charging down the rink to beat-out his opponent to make a goal in hockey, he was a true athlete and a joy for us all to watch as he played. Landon was a competitor through and through. Most all of his days were spent outside enjoying some sort of activity with his dad, brothers Bryan and Christian in the yard playing three-way baseball, kickball, or teasing his big sis Lyndsay. You could always find Landon outside swinging, a golf club, hockey stick, you name it, or just finding some sort of mischief to keep him and his best buddy Christian entertained. If there were trouble to be had, you could bet that Landon would be there with Christian right by his side!
For those of us who knew and loved Landon, he always seemed to have a way of brightening up any room he entered, making the saddest person smile or his classmates laugh with his silly hijinks. He always had a story to tell or a practical joke to play on someone, whether they wanted it or not. His teachers always commented on his spunk, his mischievous side and his unique athleticism.
Landon is survived by his father and mother, David and Shelly Greenan, his siblings Lyndsay, big brother Bryan and best buddy of all Christian Greenan, his grandfathers John Fuller and Gary Spilman, his grandmother Joanne Greenan, aunts and uncles Chuck and Suzanne Reifsnyder, Steve and Lisa Spilman, Sally Spilman and Fred and Michelle Bodendorfer, numerous cousins and, of course, his beloved and true friends.
Landon touched the lives of so many in the few short years that he was here with all of us, and he will be sorely missed by us all.
Good-Bye and God bless you Lan-Man, our little buddy, until we see you again.
(The Greenans, formerly of Panaca, now reside in Spring Creek, NV. Condolences may be sent through www.legacy.com/ElkoDaily sign in guestbook.) |
