Coyote Springs Golf Course Receiving High Ratings

Rave reviews are being received by Coyote Springs for the Jack Nicklaus Signature designed PGA golf course, "The Chase."
Coyote Springs founder and developer Harvey Whittemore told The RECORD in a telephone interview, "We are ecstatic with what's happened. When all four major golf publications rate your course as one of the best new courses in the world and in America, it's something we can be very proud of. We are very pleased with the response that we're getting." Whittemore said many visitors to Las Vegas have heard about the new course and want to have a hand at playing a round. "They want to experience a course such as this," he said. "It is unique to have this kind of facility in the state of Nevada. When you have Golf Magazine, Golf Digest, Travel and Leisure, etc, rate your course as one of the top courses in the world, people find this facility."
Golf Digest in their January 2009 issue rated Coyote Springs as No. 2 for the best new U.S. public course in 2008. The course has been open since September 2008, but Whittemore says a grand opening will have to wait until a clubhouse facility is built.
