Cloe Anne Hollinger November 25, 1941 - March 17, 2009
Cloe Anne (Drake) Hollinger was born Nov. 25, 1941 in Enterprise, UT to Tom and Cecil (Alger) Drake, the last of their 13 children. She attended school in Enterprise. At age 14 she began singing professionally as a country and western singer in Las Vegas. She was so tiny that bodyguards were necessary to protect her from the fans. Later in life she still loved to sing and often favored family and friends with her beautiful voice. She loved nature and the outdoors. Hunting and fishing were her favorite activities.
She worked for hospitals and enjoyed caring for the elderly. She was also a draftsman and designer for Moore's, Inc. of Las Vegas.
On April 3, 1991 she married Keith Hollinger of Pioche and since then her life has been centered in Pioche. She cared for her husband's mother, Blanche Hollinger, for 10 years.
She is survived by her two daughters, Tina Mason of Pioche and Tanya Maloney of Golden Springs, AZ. Cloe Anne has 3 grandchildren; Tawnie Krogman, Stanley Krogman and Jeremy Doran and a great grandson, Trevor Doran.
Cloe Anne passed away on March 17, 2009 at home in Pioche. In addition to her daughters and grandchildren she is survived by her husband, Keith, a sister Revoe Hewlet of Newcastle, UT, a brother Albert Drake of Clarkston, WA and a brother Howard Drake of Central, UT.
