4-H Horsemanship Series Underway

This year the 4-H Horsemanship Leaders in Lincoln County have organized a series of 4-H horse shows around the county. The first show was in Alamo 30 May 2009. The second show was 13 June 2009 in Caliente. The third show will be during the Lincoln County Fair 8 Aug 2009. Exhibitors in each division (junior, intermediate and senior) who accumulate the most points will be awarded a buckle at the end of the year play day in September.
Saturday 13 June was the second show in the series. Exhibitors and their horses came from Alamo, Panaca, Pioche and Caliente. Ann Bailey of Hiko was the Judge. Exhibitors competed in showmanship, western pleasure, western equitation, trail, horsemanship, barrels and poles.
