Drew Arrien paced Wendover (5-12, 2-6) with 15 points.

Coach Wood said Wendover is a "real scrappy team, good athletes, pretty good height, good size, big guys," and the Wolverines did have a lead early in the fourth quarter, but faltered down the stretch.

Walker then came out in the third quarter and drained three treys of his own, and Lincoln never looked back.

"We were maybe a little subpar, and that's not taking anything away from White Pine. "It's always close here.  Even when we have good teams, it's close here."
