Obituary Notice
for
Bud "Bennie" R. Dunnagan
April 6, 1928 - September 17, 2007
Bud “Bennie” R. Dunnagan, 79, of Summers died September 17, 2007, at Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. He was born April 6, 1928, in Faxon, OK, to Melburn Bennie and Agnes Bonnie Cleghorn Dunnagan. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 12 in Las Vegas, where he was superintendent on the first archaeology dig that used heavy equipment. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a former member of the Lincoln Riding Club and was an avid horse and mule trader. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Calvin Vaughn.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa E. Dunnagan of the home; one son, Arnold Dunnagan of Springdale; six daughters: Janene Davis of Bixby, OK: Jennie Dunnagan of Fayetteville; Julia Soldat and husband Jeff of Spring, TX; Maureen Dunnagan and husband Morton Tanner of Westville, OK; Crystal Humphrey and husband David of Siloam Springs; and Peggy Lester and husband Dallas of Westville; two brothers, Bill Dunnagan or Oroville, CA, and Jerry Dunnagan of Hemphill, TX; one sister, Estelle Vandenack of Cane Hill; 7 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Bud was the son-in-law of Stella Emerine of Pioche, NV. He had married her daughter Rosa Ella (Emerine) Duggan on February 16, 1956 in Caliente, NV and moved to Summers, AR in June 1966, where they have resided since.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove with Mike Dunnagan and Paul Young officiating. Burial will be in Ganderville Cemetery at Summers.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Hulse, Clint, Dunnagan, Jeff Soldat, Ralph Dotson, Morton Tanner, Paul Kirk, David Humphrey, Dallas Lester and Tom Jones.

Hope Fitzgerald

Long time resident of Lincoln County Marie Fitzgerald passed away in her families home in Caliente at the age of 88. She was born in Helena, Montana, to Robert & Gertrude Watson. She married her late husband Arthur in 1947. Marie and Art moved from Wisconsin to Las Vegas in 1964 were she worked in many of the big hotels until she and Art retired and began traveling to Echo Dam and Eagle Valley. She was a 35 yr. Member of the Eagles Lady Auxiliary of Henderson, Nevada, and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Caliente Nevada. Marie loved camping, fishing, playing pool, cards and loved reading good books.
Marie is survived by her family Linnea Baldwin (Sherman) of Caliente, NV., Robert Feltus (Peggy) of South Carolina, Rusty Fitzgerald (Susan) of Caliente, NV., Barbara Caserotti of Port Hadlock, WA., Charles Fitzgerald (Susie) of Cedar City, UT. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was husband Arthur Fitzgerald, son Larry Feltus, and granddaughter Valerie Doss.
Grave side services will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the VFW Cemetery in Caliente, NV. There will be a viewing on Thursday, October 11, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at the Wiscombe Southern Nevada Mortuary. Interment is in the VFW Cemetery in Caliente, NV.

Eric Russell Mangum

Eric Russell Mangum was born November 20, 1990 and died October 3, 2007 as a result from injuries following an auto accident. He lived with his parents and siblings in Caliente, Nevada. He is survived by Parents: Burt and Robin Mangum; Siblings: Joyce, Kerilyn, Christopher and Jerrett; Grandparents: Jerry and Rozanne Mangum and Carolyn Mahaffey; Great Grandmother: Arnelda Arnoldus, Nieces: Carlee and Chesnie.
Eric attended Lincoln County High School where he was a Junior. He believed everyone should have a smile and was active in the community. He truly enjoyed helping others, hunting, and being outdoors. At the young age of sixteen Eric believed in the saying "Pay it Forward" and he lived this everyday with a wild and carefree spirit.
A memorial service will be held in the Caliente Elementary School Gymnasium, Caliente, NV on Saturday October 13, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. by Pastor Tony Tobler. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Southern Nevada Mortuary of Caliente. The mortuary will be handling all arrangements.
