IlaRae Holaday Mangum Shankle, 65, of Payette, ID, passed away on October 30, 2007, at Sunbridge Care Center in Payette.

IlaRae was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 3, 1942 to Cyril and Fanchon Holaday. On August 1, 1959, she married Paul Mangum. They later divorced in 1989. She then married Jerry Shankle on June 22, 1990, bringing to the family 3 step-sons, Rick, Randy and Rod.

IlaRae is survived by her husband Jerry; her children Lark MacKenzie (Eric Cazier), Nevada Lovitt (Alan), Montana Mangum, Rick Shankle (Mary), Randy Shankle (Melissa); Grandchildren: Joel, Jordan, Shelby, Emylee, Austin, Jake, Chelsey, John, Anthony, Lisa, Trevor, Alan, Kayla, Janelle and Sara, Corky and Maynard; brothers and sisters: Newt and Ina Holaday, Ione Woods, Norene and Rick Tolmie, Cyril and Sandy Holaday, Merle Holaday; sisters-in-law: Donna Holaday, Carolyn Fisher (Bud); and her mother-in-law, Martha Whitt, and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. IlaRae was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Fanchon Holaday and step-son, Rod Shankle.

The family would like to thank Joyce Douglas, Mercy Medical Center ICU, and Sunbridge Care Center of Payette. We appreciate the care given to our mother and her family.
